Commencing his career in the offshore oil industry enabled Scott to gain vast experience and a real insight into risk management within high hazard sectors where human behaviour and effective risk management are critical. This gave him a thirst for wanting to better understand people and the choices that they make. This interest led to him undertaking further studies including a Masters of Science in Human Factors. Keen to apply this learning to industry, Scott moved from teaching at secondary education level into industry as a Human Performance expert. His specialisms include the design, development and delivery of training courses covering subjects including situation awareness, stress management, motivation and other behaviour and human factor constructs.
