The nomination forms were available on the CV Magazine website for over 3 months in order for the 130,000 readers worldwide to take part in the poll. After nominations were received for Gauged Solutions to be considered, in depth research then took place on the services that Gauged Solutions offer. An in depth report was developed by CV Magazines team of researchers and then sent on to the judging panel. The research included company history, services, articles, press release, product reviews, images of work, client testimonials and more!
The judging panel then discussed and deliberated in order to decide who they believe deserved to win, and Gauged Solutions were considered best in our category which was pitched against other organisations including equipment suppliers, training provides, regulatory services, consultancies.

IIRSM Barry Holt Award For Outstanding Risk Management Practice 2018
In May 2018 Gauged Solutions attended the IIRSM Risk Management Conference and Awards and received the Inaugural IIRSM Barry Holt Award for Outstanding Risk Management Practice in recognition of the impact of the behavioural safety programme "Safety in Mind" designed, developed and delivered to Suez Recycling & Recovery UK.
The Safety In Mind programme was instigated to counteract the prevailing trend of major injuries and fatalities within the waste industry and has been both the catalyst and umbrella for significant positive change within the Suez business that has extended from safety management into overall risk management.
